Introducing...Lola Isabelle Bates

Since the holidays were so crazy I never got to do a post on my newest niece who was born just before Christmas. My sister-in-law just sent me new pics today so I thought I would post them. They live in Georgia so we haven't got to meet her yet but don't you just want to bite those stinking cheeks. She is a doll! I think she looks like her aunt Sarah...lol! XOXOXO

So my phone rang at 7:00AM this last weekend and one thing pops into my head...who died? Thank goodness no one did but it was my Aunt Lettie telling me to pack my bags for this weekend cause they need extras in the "Twighlight" movie, which she thought was equally as important. HAPPY VDAY!

We helped Max make his first Valentines box this year...While we were doing it Bart said "what do you do with a Valentines box"? WOW...He had never been to a school where they made them. I said "you take them to school and Valentines are delivered into them". Still nothing clicked...so I told him how when we were in elementary that they would give prizes for the most creative Valentine box. I remember when Jim did a robot one. So needless to say Bart didn't see the signifigance in the box but Max and Jaxson had fun doing them. Jaxson actually made his at school. They have made the playing field more level by having the kids make them at school so they are all the same. Max and I took Jaxson to school and then delivered Valentines to all our family. Bart and I's Valentine present was a new oven!!! WOOHOO!

JAXSON'S FIRST DAY AGAIN!

Jaxson started his new school today. They were great. Right when we walked in they were waiting for him and gave us the tour and introduced us to his teacher. She assigned him a buddy for the week that hangs out with them and shows them the ropes which I think is such a novel idea. He said he loves his school because the library has windows and the ceiling in the gym are like the high school's. Of course Max had to be just like his big brother...he screamed when he couldn't stay with him.

Flashback Friday!!!

I decided to flashback to 09/16/04...The day Bart and I got married...I thought I would do this as a tribute to marrying the most amazing man in the world. He is a jack of all trades...he can do hair, build a house, work his guts out so that I can spend all his money. He is an amazing father and husband. He has endured three weeks of hell to get this house of ours ready and it looks SUPER! MORE PICS of the house COMING SOON!
