Seriously...I thought this day would never come!!!

I have sat through Karate tournaments, Baseball games, soccer games, violin lessons, swimming lessons you name it and now finally something I will actually LOVE sitting through....FOOTBALL! Don't get me wrong...I love my kids to be involved but there are some things better than others!

Jaxson is now old enough to play football. This week they started "Hell" week...conditioning. He is doing awesome and has natural talent (like mother like son LOL :)). He beats everyone in sprints and can catch the football and throw...which sounds simple but you would be surprised how many kids can't. They draft the teams this week and I am probably the only mom on the field yelling at him to hustle...hard to believe since I am so calm all the time! :)

We went and got his pads and cleats last week...we had to buy a cup which he thinks is pretty funny! Layton has an awesome football program...a little too awesome because parents are there the entire practice and they are all fanatics...so there will probably be a post later in the season where Bart had to come bail me our of jail. lol! We (heart) football!

DARK KNIGHT

Jaxson and I went and saw Batman The Dark Knight and WOW! It was amazing...there wasn't a dull moment and it was by far the best one yet and by far the best movie I have seen this year. Christian Bale has also moved to number 1 on my celebrity _ _ _ _ list! Fill in the blanks people...you all have the list! LOL

Also living in Utah...all I heard was how dark this movie was blah blah blah! Note to self folks...Batman is a super hero that kills bad guys, stops crime etc...he doesn't sit around and color pictures of Elmo or play Sudoku. There was nothing darker about this one then the others...the only thing dark is the Joker...he is a Schizophrenic, narcissistic sociopath! Translated, that means he's messed up!

We got back from Disneyland late on Sunday...it was super fun...crazy but fun. We stayed in Saint George on Tuesday and took off for LA on Wednesday. When we got there we went to Huntington Beach. It is my favorite beach of them all. The kids loved playing in the ocean. Then Thursday and Friday we did Disneyland from 9AM until Midnight. We got on every ride. Someone told us about the "Parent Switch Pass" which was a life saver. It allows a parent to go on the ride (waiting in the lines) and then you ask for the pass and give it to the other spouse who had to say with the younger kids or whatever, and with that pass you can use the express lane and basically walk to the front of the line and get on the ride. It was awesome. We then traveled back to Saint George and stayed with my rents at Green Valley in their condo. For those of you who know my fetish with Coach purses I did hit up the Coach outlet in Barstow and got a new purse. ...wouldn't be a trip without one lol! We then headed back to Salt Lake on Sunday. It was a super fun trip and the kids have slept in until almost 10 every morning since we have been home...they were waisted. Possible could be because Jaxson and I couldn't wait to see Batman and went to a 10:40PM showing on Sunday night when we got home. Yeah I know...parent of the year keeping my kids out that late! LOL! Christian Bail was worth it!

DISNEYLAND...HERE WE COME!

We leave tomorrow for Disneyland. The boys are super excited and Jaxson is ecstatic because his Dad Troy and Step Mom Jenny and little brother Boston are going with us! We haven't been to Disneyland in two years and we have been going through withdrawals. Move over Britney...there is a new diva coming to your town! LOL!

Stadium of Fire

One of my good friends is the director of Stadium of Fire and this year I went down and helped her. There were 1346 dancers this year that participated...we were down there from Wednesday afternoon until late Friday night...Long, hard , hot crappy rehearsal days but Friday night made it all worth it. They did awesome and then Miley Cyrus and Blue Man Group performed...her and I had passes that got us any where so we walked right up to the stage and watched. We also got to watch her sound check for a bit...super fun!
